Ratoath BMX Club Making It’s Mark in Newry and Dundalk

 
 

 
 
Ratoath BMX Club played host to a group of more than 60 children and adults from Newry and Dundalk recently.
 

The Newry group is hoping to develop their own BMX track and visited the Ratoath club, along with local Cllr Charlie Casey, a member of Newry and Mourne District Council, on Saturday, 11th August, to to see the facilities, how it works and how popular it is with local young people.

 

Their project is being led by Kevin Kevin McShane from Newry, who was British BMX champion in 1989, and organised the visit. He is also now a member of the Ratoath Club.
