There’s a new Club in Town!
Exciting news for BMX in Ireland and Dublin in particular. There’s a new club in town!
Starting on the 27th December, the newly formed Dublin City BMX Club will be operating out of the Cherry Orchard BMX facility. They will be running the evening training sessions, evening open sessions and the midweek and Sunday races.
The Club, set up by Keith Steacy, Wayne Quinn, Declan Foran, and Anthony Connor is a non-profit venture so any money raised will go directly to the development of the club after the rent is paid. The four guys involved are in it purely for BMX and all have kids involved in the sport but need your support to keep the club alive by attending the races, open sessions etc.
The club’s first event is an open fun day on the 27th December. As well as all day open track time to dial in your new bikes there will be raffles, spot prizes, kids relay races, some demo races, music and general fun and games. Tea and coffee will also be available. You can get more details, ask questions and join the event HERE (facebook).
