Principal Stay Strong hit our shores!

If there was ever a good cause brand in BMX well than Stay Strong  is it. You all know the story about Stephen Murray and if you don’t you should, (go HERE and read about it). The Stay Strong brand is not just about supporting Stephen Murray, he is now using the foundation to support other riders in need too.

2013 see’s the introduction of the Stay Strong brand in Ireland. 1980’s BMX legend Simon Murphy and his company Principal Environmental Services have teamed up with Stay Strong UK to form the Principal Stay Strong team.

At this stage you all know who is going to be rocking the Black & Yellow this year but for the few who missed it, they are …  Eamonn Wyer, reliving his youth as 2012 National number 1 and one of the driving forces behind the resurgence of BMX in Ireland.

KT O’Neil, the 2012 Number 1 female in the country and getting faster every time she hits the track, the boys better up their game.

Sam Murphy the 2012 National Champion has BMX in his genes and is arguably one of the most naturaly gifted multi-discipline BMX riders in the country.

New comer Ryan Quinn, also a 2012 National Champion, is real threat for the 2013 number 1 plate. This kid brings his bikes to bed with him, pretty much says it all right there. So not really a team to be taken lightly.

The introduction of Stay Strong on a formal level to the Irish BMX scene can only help the sport grow here. We need more of it.

And remember if your looking for a new Tee Shirt, cap, grips, or even stickers go hit up Simon, he’s the guy with the silly hat and clip board at the track … it’s for a good cause!
